I think that too much of this goes on, but what can you expect when more and more we see scam after scam and so much dishonest advertising.
Sometimes I see referrers in my web site statistics for sites that search and analyze keywords. Assumably this activity is my competitors studying my keywords and trying to work out how to better me in search results.
Sometimes I do check out my competitors and yes, look at their keywords only to notice that they use words not related to their own product.. probably because I used those words.
Just more and more petty theft.. nothing but scammers and thieves.
Its a pity that Google doesnt vet the sites that it lists like search engines used to. Gee they make enough money from it, so you would think that they would at least try to keep it clean. |
